Senator Zam Declares Self Winner Of Benue Zone B APC Senatorial Ticket

Senator representing Benue North West senatorial District, Titus Zam, has declared himself winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary election ticket held on Monday.
Taking to his facebook page to thank supports and voters, Zam stated, “A word of appreciation for your overwhelming support; Benue North West senatorial District.
“I wish to deeply appreciate the Dynamic people of Benue North West senatorial District for coming out in your overwhelming numbers to re-elect me for the second term as your distinguished Senator in the primary election of yesterday 18th may, 2026.
“Your resilience in the face of verified instances of election materials diversion, by a few desperate parties gave me a fine feeling of a people determined to exercise their electoral franchise no matter the situation.
Zam added, “Available results supported by vedios of your long queues are clear evidences of your indomitable participation in the primary election in the 90 electoral wards of Benue North West senatorial District aka Zone B. The rebel camp which hide in Government House, Local Government lounges and Hotels to manufacture results can NOT display or proof validly that they conducted any legitimate party primaries in Benue North West senatorial District.
“I’m satisfied that the good people of Zone B are solidly with us, they are in a clear majority and can’t be intimidated by any powers. Your votes must count and I will not toy with this practical demonstration of my acceptability as the legal winner of the primaries. Therefore, I enjoin you to remain calm and completely disregard any announcement that presents a contrary result or information about your victorious outing yesterday. Your own Senator Dr Titus Tartenger Zam” the senator declared.

NDC Establishes Code Of Conduct For Obi, Kwankwaso, Others

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has said a comprehensive Code of Conduct to be established for all party officials and candidates ahead of 2027 general elections.

The statement issued by the NDC National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, on Monday stated that to this end, a committee has been constituted under the leadership of the National Legal Adviser to develop the framework and guidelines.

Second NEC Resolutions: NDC Takes Major Steps Towards Institutionalization

1. The NDC is committed to building the party as a strong and enduring institution, with emphasis on party supremacy. The programs, policies, and appointments (except personal staff) of all governments elected on the platform of the party must be made in consultation with the party structure.

The party remains supreme, and members are expected to align their personal interests and agendas with those of the party.

2. All affiliated groups and NGOs shall operate under the guidance and control of the party and must not function in parallel with, or independently of, the party structure.

3. A comprehensive Code of Conduct shall be established for all party officials and candidates. To this end, a committee has been constituted under the leadership of the National Legal Adviser to develop the framework and guidelines.

4. A National Reconciliation Committee has been inaugurated to reconcile all aggrieved members of the party.

5. The NDC is being built as an institution, not a personality cult, political movement, or Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to be used and discarded.

Members are encouraged to remain committed to the party and contribute to its growth and sustainability for generations to come.

At all times, and for all candidates and aspirants, total allegiance must be to the party and the national interest.

On financial probity, the party will enforce strict accountability in the management of party resources by all officers, and party funds must be used strictly for party business.

For candidates, there must also be strict accountability for all funding received. Monies sourced by candidates at all levels, and contributions made by candidates to campaign accounts, must be fully disclosed to the party at the appropriate levels (local government, state, zonal, and national). Such funds must be received through dedicated party campaign accounts, including presidential and governorship campaign accounts of the party, as applicable.

APC Primaries: Gov. Uba Sani Wins Kaduna Ticket With 459,393 Votes

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has emerged as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general election after securing 459,393 affirmation votes at the party’s primary election held on Thursday.

Governor Sani, who contested as the sole aspirant, received a resounding endorsement from delegates and stakeholders across the state in what party leaders described as a strong vote of confidence in his leadership, performance and political direction.

The primary election, monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), drew top APC leaders, elected officials, delegates and supporters across the 23 local government areas of the state.

Announcing the result, Chairman of the Kaduna APC Governorship and House of Assembly Primary Election Committee, Hon. Hafiz Ibrahim Kawu, described the exercise as peaceful, transparent and reflective of the growing unity and internal cohesion within the ruling party ahead of the 2027 general election.

The adoption of the affirmation votes was moved by the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Liman, and was unanimously endorsed by delegates at the venue amid chants and celebrations by party supporters.

Speaking shortly after his affirmation, Governor Uba Sani thanked APC members, stakeholders and the people of Kaduna State for what he described as an overwhelming demonstration of trust and solidarity.

According to the governor, the endorsement represents a renewed mandate to deepen inclusive governance, strengthen security and accelerate development across the state.

“We have made significant progress in restoring peace, strengthening unity and expanding development across Kaduna State through dialogue, inclusion and people-oriented policies. From infrastructure and education to rural transformation and urban renewal, our administration remains committed to improving the lives of our citizens,” he said.

Governor Sani assured residents that his administration would consolidate on the gains already recorded and intensify efforts towards building a more peaceful, prosperous and economically vibrant Kaduna State.

2027: Ex-BIPC Board Member, Chila, Wins APC Ukum State Assembly Ticket

Former board member Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC), Andrew Aondofa Chila, has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ukum State Constituency.

The Returning officer of State Assembly Primary Election Committee for Ukum constituency, Emmanuel Terkura Ukula, while announcing the results declared Chila as the winner of the APC ticket as he scored 24,300 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Humphrey Uke, who got 1,142 votes.
In his reaction, Chila commended APC members in Ukum for coming out in enmass to vote for him,  describing the victory as divinely ordained.
He promised to provide sound and quality representation which would focus on delivering development and addressing the needs of the constituency if elected in 2027 elections.
The APC flagbearer appealed to the people of Ukum to massively mobilise and vote for all APC candidates in the forthcoming polls.
Chila, however, hailed fellow contestants for the maturity displayed throughout her the primary election process, calling on them to put aside any differences and support him to secure victory for the party.
